We have several athletes who have in recent years won both county and youth games honours. In the past Manchester Athletes have competed in the Olympics games with Emil Voight winning a Gold medal in the London Olympics of 1908.

In the 1970’s Ricky Wilde won the 3000m European indoor title for Britain in a world indoor best time. This time is still ranked as the 8th fastest by a British athlete indoors.
