Social and Awards Evening 2022
Join us to celebrate another great year of track and field competition. We’ll also be presenting awards for the 2020/21 Cross Country season.
When: Saturday 15th October, 7pm until late
Where: The Wythenshawe Sports Club, 78 Longley Lane, Northenden, M22 4JF
Tickets: £7 for adults and £5 for 16 and under (includes buffet)

Manchester Mile 2022 – Results
The results for the Manchester Mile event held at Sportcity on 29 Jun 22 are available on Power of 10 here and attached below.
Wythenshawe – Parking and Training Disruptions
This week’s training has some disruptions
- Tuesday Training is on, but the car park will be shut. It’s shut from Mon 27th to Wed 29th to be re-surfaced. Park in the roads nearby or main hall car park. Call it at a warm up.
- Thursday No training – the first Sale Sizzler 5K is on – a lot of us will be racing instead.

Thanks to all those who organised, officiated, competed and generally helped make our annual Joe Moran veteran’s track and field event take place after a Covid induced break.

2020/2021 Road Race Championships Winners
Every year the club runs a road racing championship. Points are scored for how well you do against other club members in road races over the year- more here. The pandemic meant fewer races so we’ve combined two years.
Congratulations to the overall winners:

Awards will be presented at a Special Social Evening– the date of which is currently being finalised. Meanwhile, Members are asked to look through the list of “Races Run” and the “Road Champs Table” below.
All results were collected from Power of Ten with the exception of those for overseas events. If you find any errors or omissions please let us know.
Another Fixtures Update for May 2022
Note: Venue Change This Saturday’s (21st May) YDL fixture is now at Longford Park Stadium and will be a double header with the Premier West Division.
