Massive THANK YOU for your efforts at the Cheshire League on Sunday. I thought we would be struggling with athletes after the Greater Manchester Schools and Northern T&F Champs clashing, but you all really gave it 100% today.

Plus a special thanks to Kes, Debbie (Chloe and Emma’s Mum) Lydia, Jane Stiles, Evelyn’s Dad & George Lawson for helping out with our Officiating duties, this brings in essential points for track, timekeeping and field officiating so very much appreciated.

Veteran Track & Field Meeting on Wednesday 18th June 2014 7.15 pm to 9:15 pm at Sportcity, Manchester.
Track Events: 800m, 100m, 3000m, 200m, 1500m, 400m
Field Events: Javelin, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Putt
ENTRY FEE: £5 for 1 to 4 events plus £1 for each additional event
Winners Medals will be awarded to the first three finishers in each category:
Male / Female – 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75

A successful day at Blackpool with some fabulous performances in the first meeting. A great team effort with some great results even in some some of the events that people weren’t that keen to do.

Grace Decampos (2:29.6) and Alice Stiles (2:30.6) came 1st and 2nd in their heat and Beth Smyth won her heat (2:29.40) in U13G 800m. Beth Barlow won U15G 1500m in 4:48.6
