New – Running for Beginners Sessions

From 4th September, Manchester Harriers will start a Beginners’ Running Group at Wythenshawe Park Athletics Track every Thursday at 6pm. All sessions are run by experienced Run Leaders from Manchester Harriers. All beginners are welcome at these sessions which are aimed at improving your fitness through fun running activities. You will be able to do a 5k within 10 weeks!

Cost is only £2 per session which goes towards the facility hire, First 20 people get a FREE Reflective Snap Band!!! Meet at the trackside.

Hill/Fell Training. Every Wednesday in August.

Dave Wood and Debbie are taking some Hill/Fell sessions at Lyme Park in August. The sessions are to help you with hills – how to run up and down a hill well, plus how to get used to trails and off road running:
ALL WELCOME – ALL ABILITIES
Wed 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th August – 6.30pm meet at the Main Car park in Lyme Park, then we will train at the park until about 7.30/8pm.
You can run in trainers, trail shoes, walshes, fell shoes or similar, please bring a drink & waterproof with you, plus if you need a lift let me know and i will either give you a lift or find you one where i can.
There is no cost but you may have to pay for parking if you are not a member of the National Trust- £7.(We may have details of a free parking area nearby and will update once its confirmed)
